Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $3,864 - $4,057 per month
Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,864 - $6,072 per
month
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that
includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the
California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and
vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Eligible employees are
also able to participate in the fee waiver education program. A

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chair of the Women's, Gender
and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) Department, the individual selected
will join a dynamic department that is home to faculty from a
variety of fields and to the LGBTQ2+ minor and the American Indian
Studies (AIS) program. Thus, the position welcomes an individual
excited to join the team to perform a variety of general
administrative, clerical, and academic support functions, in
support of the growth and wellbeing of all programs and faculty
within the department. WGSS, LGBTQ+ Studies, and AIS take pride in
their relationships with the broader community and seek an
individual who is committed to supporting the department's outreach
efforts to communities, alumni, and potential majors and minors by
providing support for event planning, maintaining the program
webpages, and participating in student success efforts. All
employees of the university meet the mission of the department,
college, and the university. Work often involves front line
contacts with a variety of campus and community individuals
requiring active problem solving and effective interpersonal
skills.
