Job Description:
A company is looking for a Chair of the Department of Medicine
and Primary Care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Department,
overseeing operations and faculty development
Develop and deliver an innovative osteopathic medical curriculum
across various specialties
Establish partnerships for clinical training and research, while
ensuring compliance with accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
Terminal degree (DO/MD) in a relevant area of expertise
Board certified with clinical expertise in internal medicine,
primary care, or associated sub-specialties
10+ years of academic medicine experience with progressive
leadership roles
Experience in medical education and evidence-based osteopathic
practice
Record of effective departmental or program leadership at the
graduate or medical education level
