Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coder-Professional Fee to
work remotely in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Abstract ICD 10 CM diagnoses codes and CPT procedural codes
according to official guidelines
Maintain productivity rates of 8 to 10 charts per hour while
achieving quality standards of 95% or greater
Communicate with management or clients regarding coding and
compliance issues
Required Qualifications:
CPC, COC, CCS, or CIC certification with a minimum of 2 years of
experience in professional fee coding
Thorough knowledge of medical anatomy, physiology, and medical
terminology
Experience with EPIC is a plus
Familiarity with specialties including GI, anesthesia, wound care,
pediatrics, radiology, and general surgery
Must reside in specific states as outlined for consideration
