Job Description:
Lead Line Service Technicians providing services to general
aviation aircraft, crew, and passengers. Delegate duties, monitor
progress, and assess results. Perform tasks such as greeting,
parking, fueling, and marshaling aircraft, as well as providing
customer service and shuttle services.
- Delegate and assign duties to qualified personnel.
- Greet, park, tow, move, and marshal aircraft.
- Provide lavatory and water service.
- Fuel and de-ice aircraft.
- Provide shuttle services for passengers and crew.
- Assist with customer service duties.
- Provide oil and oxygen service.
- Assist with baggage and cargo handling.
- Assist with ramp cleaning and debris removal.
- Assist with wing-walking duties.
- Assist with training new employees.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid state driver's license; CDL required in some
locations.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and obtain
airport security badge.
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Successfully complete Signature's training programs.
- Pass color vision test for aviation fuel inspection.
- Use computer and email, including passing computer-based
training modules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English.
- Perform simple arithmetic.
- Work flexible schedules, including night shifts, holidays, and
weekends.
- Prior general aviation experience preferred.Pay ranges vary
based on skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities,
seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior
training, and travel. The pay range for this position is $25.00 to
$27.00/hour.
- Regularly stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel,
and talk or hear.
- Read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English
language.
- Drive vehicles in areas congested with aircraft, moving and
stationary vehicles, and equipment.
- Effective communication with customers, clients, management,
and other employees.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral
instructions.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds above the head.
- Apply basic math concepts to perform operations.
- Solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables.
- Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
- Report to work in a regular and timely basis.
